What is futsal?

Futsal is indoor soccer played on a court with a smaller, low bounce ball.

How is futsal different from regular soccer?

Futsal is played indoors on a hard court with a smaller, heavier ball. The smaller space and faster pace mean kids get far more touches, make quicker decisions, and stay constantly involved in play. These skills transfer directly to outdoor soccer.

How does futsal help my child improve at outdoor soccer?

Futsal strengthens ball control, first touch, passing accuracy, and speed of play. Because players must think and react quickly, they develop better awareness and confidence—skills that make them stronger outdoor players.

What ages and skill levels do you accept?

Our Queen Anne futsal program welcomes beginners through advanced players, typically ages 5–12. Kids are typically grouped by age (dependent on number of players) and ability so everyone learns at the right pace.

WHY SHOULD I SIGN MY YOUTH UP FOR FUTSAL?

By enrolling your child in the program, they will:

  • Build stronger foot skills from constant touches on the ball.

  • Develop quicker decision making through small area play.

  • Experience a fun, high energy environment that keeps kids excited to learn.

Is futsal good for beginners?

Yes. Futsal is one of the best ways for new players to build confidence quickly. The smaller court and constant involvement help kids learn faster and stay engaged.

How do you keep kids engaged and having fun?

Sessions mix skill‑building drills with fast‑paced games that keep kids moving. The environment is supportive, energetic, and designed to make learning fun.

Is futsal safe?

Futsal is played on a smooth indoor surface with a low‑bounce ball, reducing tripping and collisions. Coaches supervise closely and prioritize safety in every session.

Who are the coaches?

Our coaches are experienced, youth soccer and futsal trainers who focus on positive coaching, skill development, and building confidence in every player

Do you offer indoor futsal camps during school breaks?

Yes. We offer seasonal indoor futsal camps in Queen Anne during winter, spring break, and summer—perfect for Seattle’s rainy months. Please check our Camps page for future offerings during school breaks.

Where can I find the schedule for futsal classes?

You can find our current futsal class schedule on the Futsal Class page. It lists all session dates, times, age groups, pricing and availability for our Queen Anne indoor programs.

What’s your refund policy if we paid but can no longer attend?

We offer full refunds for cancellations made 30 days or more before the start of a program. Cancellations made 15–29 days before the start date are eligible for a partial refund or credit toward a future session. Beginning on the program start date, no refunds or credits are available. All refund requests must be submitted by email so we can process them promptly. More information can be found on our Refund Policy page.

What should my child bring?

Kids should wear indoor shoes, comfortable athletic clothing, and bring a water bottle. We provide futsal balls and all training equipment.
